Estimated Restoration Times (ERT) Presentation Covers:

  • Escalated Operations Playbook for Storm Management that provides all guidelines to manage an event at Xcel Energy.

Presented by Troy Browen, the Director, NSP Control Centers and Trouble Operations at Xcel Energy, will be presenting on the storm response process and estimated restoration times at Xcel Energy. Troy ensures safe and efficient response times to outages on the electrical system and works proactively with Xcel Energy Engineers to prevent outages. He is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management Executive Education program. 

Damage Assessment Presentation Covers:

  • ComEd's current damage assessment (DA) process.
  • The new DA program that ComEd is developing for launch in December 2017.

Kevetta Snow began her career with Comed in 2011. Since working for ComEd, she worked as an Operations Dispatcher at the Operations Control Center and for the Operations Planning department  preparing switching clearance orders for the distribution system. In September 2015, she joined the Emergency Preparedness department as a Senior Emergency Preparedness Administrator and is the business unit lead for the storm Damage Assessment process.  Prior to working from Comed she spent nine years with Comcast. Kevetta has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University.

  • Safety issues and training considerations for non-electrical workers and contractors assigned damage assessment duties

Robert "Bob" Hobbs is currently the Vice President of Operations for Coastal Electrical Construction.  He has over four decades of operational and safety experience in the electric utility industry. He has served in various leadership positions throughout his career with an investor owned utility, large and small electrical contractors. Bob also provides consulting services in a variety of operations/compliance arenas. His expertise in leadership training for frontline workers is highly sought after by utilities and contractors seeking to improve safety and operations performance.
